The Canadian government has recognized September 30th as a statutory holiday for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation meaning that federal mandated employees have Thursday off. Chief Arcand pointed out that are closed and local businesses have shut their doors today as to why Saskatoon is leading the way when it comes to reconciliation.
Those attending the concert will be required to wear a mask and show proof of vaccination. Those who aren’t fully vaccinated will be asked to take a COVID-19 test on site.
