Regina Police say a 20 year old man is facing charges in connection to a hit and run which injured three people and those charges include three counts of Attempted Murder.

Wednesday around 11:45 a.m. police were called to an accident at the intersection of Victoria and Arcola Avenues.

Officers say their investigation indicates a man in his car was hit from behind by another car and when he got out to check the damage he was hit by a stolen vehicle. People inside other vehicles at the intersection got out to help the now injured man and the suspect hit the original victim as well as two Good Samaritans.

The vehicle fled the scene, a 20 year old man was located shortly after, was arrested and now Larz Anthony Okeeweehow of Regina is facing, in addition to attempted murder charges, a charge of dangerous driving, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and theft of a motor vehicle,

The initial victim remains in critical condition while the other two victims have injuries described as non-life threatening.
