The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has declared COVID-19 outbreaks at Mount Royal and Bedford Road collegiates. The SHA notified the school division about the outbreak declarations during the weekend. Communication about the outbreaks has been shared with students, staff, and families at each school.

Since school started September 1, the SHA has confirmed three cases of COVID-19 connected to Bedford Road Collegiate and five cases at Mount Royal Collegiate.

Classes at the schools are continuing as scheduled.

As well, after consultation with the SHA, Saskatoon Public Schools is temporarily moving one classroom at wâhkôhtowin School and one classroom at Chief Whitecap School to remote learning starting today.

Since the start of the school year, Saskatoon Public Schools has been notified of 167 positive cases at 48 of the 49 schools in the division.
