An early Thursday morning assault and stolen vehicle has led Regina Police to ask for the public’s help with locating a suspect in connection with the incident.
Officers responded to a report of a break in at a business in the 600 block of Albert Street in the early morning hours of October 7th, but didn’t immediately locate a suspect. However, an employee from a nearby business reported seeing someone matching the description provided of the suspect in a neighbouring compound. When Police went to search inside the compound, the suspect engaged the witness in a physical altercation at the compound gate before the suspect drove away in the witness’s car. The suspect is described as male, about 20 years old and 150 pounds, wearing a white shirt and black pants. The stolen vehicle is a blue, 2019 Nissan Sentra with Saskatchewan license plate 111 G-C-F. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
