One of Saskatchewan’s most popular provincial parks is receiving funding through the Government of Saskatchewan’s $2-billion in stimulus funding. Rowan’s Ravine, which is northwest of Regina, was chosen for $10.7-million worth of new paving and road improvements in the park and on the highways leading to it.
The work is complete on Highway 322 from just north of the Glen Harbour access road to its junction with Highway 220, then on Highway 220 west to the park. Numerous paving improvement have also been carried out inside the park, including paving of the Underwood campground loops, boat launch and the day use parking lot.
