As expected, national Justin McInnes will make his first start of the 2021 season for the Riders Saturday when they host Calgary at Mosaic Stadium. The move comes as the Riders want to give receiver Mitchell Picton a rest. Following practice Wednesday, head coach Craig Dickenson said that Picton is a little beat up after playing quite a bit of football. McInnes dressed in 14 games back in 2019 for the Riders. During that campaign, he caught 10 balls for 149 yards. Also checking in to the lineup this week are offensive lineman, Andrew Lauderdale, linebacker A.J. Hendy and linebacker Michael Pinckney Game time is 5 o’clock from Mosaic Stadium.
