Operation Red Nose has decided to suspend its service in 2021 in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta. Based on the public health situation, the organization is going to push the program into next year.
Executive Director at the national Operation Red Nose office, Anne-Marie Audet says, “The safety of our volunteers and clients is our priority, so the hard choice to push our safe ride campaign to 2022 is ultimately the most reasonable one given the current health situation.”
Operation Red Nose is a non-profit organization that provides a volunteer chauffeur service, the benefits of which are redistributed to help fund local youth and amateur sports initiatives.
