A Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team three-week investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old man.
The probe was looking into drug trafficking activities in the Stonebridge area. The male suspect was arrested, without incident, just after 2 a.m. on October 13 near a business in the 3100 block of Clarence Avenue by members of the Tactical Support Unit. Thanks to subsequent search warrants on residences in the 100 block of Levalley Cove and the 800 block of Mendel Crescent, police seized 300 grams of cocaine packaged in, both, bulk form and for distribution; $7,865 in cash; a Winchester 44-40 level action rifle (pictured). A 2018 Dodge Ram truck and a 2011 Nissan Maxima were also seized as offence-related property. The 46-year-old man faces five charges.
