The Regina Police Service says a death investigation is now a homicide investigation. The 24 year old woman is Regina’s ninth homicide victim in 2021.

On Wednesday morning around 11 a.m. patrol members answered a call of a deceased individual at an address in the 1700 block of Ottawa Street.

Police say the investigation, carried out in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, now indicates that this is a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Peri Redwood of Regina and her family has been notified. Her death remains under investigation and Regina police ask anyone who may have information to contact the police service or Crime Stoppers.
