Wollaston Lake RCMP along with community volunteers and the Canadian Rangers are continuing to actively search for three missing boaters. Wollaston RCMP say they received a complaint of three overdue boaters around 5 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. In a news release, police say one male boater left Wollaston Lake around 12:30pm to pickup another male and female at the barge landing. They were expected to arrive two and a half hours later but didn’t return. The boat they presumed to be in has been located. Additional RCMP resources and a Canadian Forces plane have been deployed to Wollaston Lake to help with the search. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wollaston Lake RCMP.
