A 28-year-old female is dead following a single vehicle rollover north of Cater in the early morning hours of Sunday morning.

The deceased female from Pelican Lake First Nation was a passenger in an S-U-V that was reported to have rolled over on the Cater Birch Lake grid road at about 12:30 a.m. on October 17. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Glaslyn/Turtleford R-C-M-P, along with E-M-S, fire services and STARS responded to the scene. The adult female driver of the S-U-V, along with two adult male passengers were transported to hospital. The Glaslyn/Turtleford R-C-M-P and R-C-M-P Collision Reconstruction continue to investigate the circumstances of the rollover.
