A concerning sight Wednesday on Day 2 of Saskatchewan Roughriders’ preparation when veteran import defensive end A-C Leonard limped off the Mosaic Stadium turf after a 12 on 12 rep.
Leonard threw his helmet in obvious frustration. Green and White head coach Craig Dickenson says Leonard tweaked a knee and he’s being checked out by the doctor. It remains to be seen if he’ll be able to play Saturday in Calgary. Dickenson added that cornerback Blace Brown won’t play this week, nor will defensive back Christian Campbell. Brown has a shoulder injury and Campbell has a hamstring issue.
