The search is on for two people who were canoeing at Long Whitefish Lake who never returned. Big River RCMP say a man and woman went canoeing on Tuesday and when they didn’t return that night, the family contacted the police. The canoe has since been found. Community members, RCMP, Ministry of Environment Conservation Officers and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association are actively searching for the two.
