The Saskatchewan Roughriders have made six roster changes from their last game two weeks ago as they left Friday for Calgary and Saturday night’s all-important second place showdown in the C-F-L West Division against the Stampeders.
As expected, the Green and White changes feature the return of Shaq Evans at wide receiver and the debut of Duke Williams at slotback. Meanwhile, changes in the defensive backfield have Jeremy Clark starting at cornerback in place of injured Blace Brown while Damon Webb plays at defensive half back, replacing Christian Campbell. Rashard Davis also comes onto the roster as back-up receiver, but he will likely handle primary return duties with Jamal Morrow heading to the practice roster. Elsewhere, A-J Hendy starts at SAM linebacker in place of Godfrey Onyeka, who was placed on the six-game injured list, while defensive end A-C Leonard is listed as a starter despite hurting himself in practice this week. The Riders are 5-4, the Stamps 5-5.
