COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at École Alvin Buckwold and Buena Vista schools

The Saskatchewan Health Authority notified the Saskatoon Public School division about the outbreaks on Sunday.

Communication about the outbreaks has been shared with students, staff, and families at the schools.

Since school started September 1, the SHA has confirmed eight cases of COVID-19 connected to École Alvin Buckwold School and six cases at Buena Vista School.

Classes are continuing as scheduled at both schools.

This school year, Saskatoon Public Schools has been notified of 268 positive cases at 56 schools in the division.
