Saskatoon Police say one man is facing charges after an imitation firearm was discharged at a home and in the direction of police officers responding to the scene.
The call came in at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night from the 1300 block of Avenue D North.
Police say the report indicated pellets were being fired at a home.
Officers were in the process of locating damage when multiple pellets were then fired in their direction, narrowly missing them.
Police determined shots were being fired from a second floor window of a home in the same block.
A 57 year old man is facing numerous firearms related charges plus he will be charged in relation to assault with a weapon and mischief. No one was hurt but a break action air rifle and a telescopic scope were seized.
