An early Saturday morning incident in Regina, which saw a man assaulted, then hit by a vehicle that left the scene, continues to be investigated by the Regina Police Service.
At about 2:13 a.m. on October 30, officers attended to a report of an assault in progress in the 1300 block of Victoria Avenue. A witness said a male was being assaulted by a group of people, who fled on foot, leaving the victim on the street. The 33-year-old male victim was then struck by a vehicle that continued west-bound on Victoria Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police were able to locate the vehicle that struck the man, arresting 47-year-old Nicole Henry of Regina. She will appear in Provincial Court on December 16th on a charge of failure to stop after a collision that causes bodily harm. Regina Police ask anyone with information that would assist with the assault investigation to call them or Crime Stoppers.
