The Premier joined dignitaries, Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and public servants for the annual Service of Remembrance for the Public Service this morning, paying tribute to those who have served and those who gave their lives in times of war. Following the service, Premier Scott Moe laid a wreath at the Saskatchewan War Memorial which lists the names of the province’s fallen soldiers from the First and Second World War, the Korean War, peacetime and peacekeeping operations, and the Afghanistan mission.

There is a website that commemorates Saskatchewan citizens who lost their lives in war, which features more than 11,000 war casualties and their stories. It’s the Saskatchewan Virtual War Memorial. Click here for more information.
