When the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a fire Wednesday afternoon, firefighters found flames coming from a detached garage and power lines knocked down in the alley. SaskEnergy and Saskatoon Light & Power were notified and the power was disconnected. The call came in at two minutes to 6 and the fire was brought under control by 6:11. A fire investigator says a fire was set in the garage and the damage estimate is $7,000. The Saskatoon Police Service is now investigating this incident.
