Voting in the first province-wide Provincial Metis Youth Council presidential election gets underway this week in Saskatchewan.

There are 5,200 Metis citizens age 16 to 29 eligible to participate.

The election is on line and three people have put their names forward including y. Cody Demerais, Autumn LaRose-Smith, and Jade Rooney.

The PMYC President is an advocate for all Métis youth in the province.

Online advance voting begins today (frid) at 7 am, and continues through Election Day, Saturday, November 6, 2021, until 7 pm.
