Prime Minister Justin Trudeau received a call from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom yesterday (Fri) to discuss the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow. Trudeau and Boris Johnson shared priorities for the final days of negotiations at the COP26 summit, and agreed to work together to push for stronger leadership on climate change, particularly by large emitters. One of the goals of the COP26 is to secure global net zero by mid-century and keep 1.5 degrees within reach. The conference concluded yesterday.
