Wind Warning
Outlook, Watrous, Hanley, Imperial, Dinsmore, Kindersley, Rosetown, Biggar, Wilkie, Macklin, and Regina. Severe wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/h are expected across southern Saskatchewan. Areas surrounding and including Leader, Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Assiniboia and Regina will see the strongest wind gusts of possibly 100 km/h in the early afternoon. With the wind will come snow creating blowing snow and reduced visibility.
Special Weather Statement – ENDED
For Saskatoon, Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan, Foam Lake, Martensville, Warman, Rosthern, Delisle, and Wakaw the special weather statement has ended. Rain has been falling overnight and these regions can still expect strong northwesterly winds to develop today gusting up to 80 km/h. These winds will begin in the Saskatoon area in the early afternoon and spread eastwards towards the Manitoba border throughout the evening. Along with the winds on Tuesday afternoon and evening, snow will begin to fall, causing reduced visibility in blowing snow.
Winter Storm Warning
Prince Albert, Shellbrook, Spiritwood, Duck Lake, The Battlefords, Unity, Maidstone, and St. Walburg. Snow began yesterday near the Alberta border and spread eastward. The snow band was predicted to produce 15 to 30 cm of snow. Just south of the snow band, freezing rain fell in some areas. This afternoon, winds in western parts of the warning will strengthen, gusting between 60 and 80 km/h . Snow will end by Wednesday morning.
Highways

The Green Lake and Meadow Lake areas are much the same but also report snow drifts and travel not recommended.
Travel is not recommended north and south of Prince Albert. Travel not recommended around Big River, Highway 4 from Battlefords Provincial Park access, Highway 1 from Gull Lake to Carmichael, Consul, Maple Creek, as well as around St. Walburg, Turtleford, north to Buffalo Narrows and all the way to La Loche.
