The Kindersley Fire Department was dispatched to a multiple vehicle accident near Netherhill at 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a motor vehicle accident involving six semis which blocked the highway.

Kindersley was under a blizzard warning as the low pressure system moved through Saskatchewan and there was zero visibility at the time with icy road conditions.

About five hours later, the Fire Department reported they had cleared the scene and the highway was back open.
