The Government of Saskatchewan’s latest COVID-19 dashboard reading showed nothing different, numbers-wise, than were revealed Thursday morning by Marlo Pritchard of the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency.
There are 95 new cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s update with 161 provincial residents in hospital, including 38 infections being treated in an I-C-U. Another 54 non-COVID patients are in Saskatchewan I-C-Us while 11 positive COVID-19 patients are in Ontario I-C-Us with two of them expected to be returned to our province by Saturday. In addition, the dashboard update showed four new virus-related deaths and 154 recoveries, leaving precisely 1,100 active cases. There were 1,707 COVID-19 tests performed Wednesday while 1,095 of 1,503 doses of vaccine made the recipient full immunized.

- 567 cases have pending residence information
- 1,100 cases are considered active and 77,932 cases are considered recovered.
- Just over two-fifths (41.1%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39 years.
- More than one-quarter (26.4%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.
- As of November 18th, a total of 161 individuals are hospitalized; including 123 inpatient hospitalizations, and 38 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 161 patients, 108 (67.1%) were not fully vaccinated.
- In addition to SK ICUs, there are 11 residents in out-of-province ICUs. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard.
- Four (4) new deaths were reported today. 905 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1%
- 1,258,127 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 16, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,061,225 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,253,478 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 102 (8.4 new cases per 100,000).
