Prince Albert RCMP found two people dead in a vehicle near Highway 355 between Albertville and Meath Park just before 9 on Thursday night. The initial investigation has determined their deaths are suspicious in nature. Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has taken lead of this investigation.

Friday afternoon, the RCMP alerted the public there was increased presence on Highway 355, and had asked people at the time to avoid the area. Police say more details will be released in the coming days.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on Friday night, or who has information about these deaths is asked to call their local police service, or submit information to Crime Stoppers.
