The Greater Saskatoon of Commerce has launched a new city-wide campaign and market hub to help make it easier for those looking for Christmas gifts to connect with local businesses.
The “Totally Locally Market Hub” at totallylocally.ca will connect users to web links, display physical locations and videos of the people behind the products and services.
Jason Aebig, CEO of the Saskatoon Chamber says so far they have around a hundred businesses on the website and they expect to have more as word gets out about the new website hub.
He adds every time you choose to shop, support and enjoy local, your dollars grow the city’s economy, creates jobs and builds a better quality of life for everyone.
The new market hub website was made possible through a partnership between the chamber and Economic Development Canada.
For a limited time, locally owned businesses can participate at no cost. For details, businesses are asked to contact the Chamber office.
