Today is Giving Tuesday and the Saskatoon Friendship Inn has announced Nutrien is once again matching cash donations to the Saskatoon Friendship Inn during December up to $100,000 as part of their Fill the Plate holiday campaign.

The Friendship Inn serves up to 1,000 meals a day and $6 fills one plate. Meals are offered with compassion and no questions asked.

Executive Vice President and CEO of Potash at Nutrien, Ken Seitz, says, “Our purpose at Nutrien is to grow our world from the ground up and that starts right here in our community,”

Seitz acknowledges that many people struggle to feed themselves and their families and Nutrien feels the Friendship Inn makes Saskatoon a kinder place to be, and they invite everyone in joining Nutrien in donating to Fill the Plate.
