An eight year old girl who was among a group of pedestrians that were hit by a vehicle in London, Ontario Tuesday evening, has died from her injuries.
The ten female pedestrians were a Girl Guide group which included children and adults between the ages of six and 40.
Five children and one adult remain in hospital.
London Police say the involved vehicle struck another vehicle stopped at a red light, continued through the red light, mounted the curb, struck a light standard and a small tree before the pedestrians were struck.
The driver is a 76 year old woman who was not hurt. Charges have not been laid but the accident is still under investigation
