One of the individuals who has helped guide the province through COVID-19, is no longer at the helm.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says its Board of Directors has received notice that CEO Scott Livingstone has left his position effective immediately. A news release from the SHA says the Board is grateful for his leadership during the creation of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The also say Livingstone provided stability during a time of substantial change and significant pressures on the health system, due to COVID.
The Board has selected Andrew Will as the Interim CEO. He was the former CEO of what was, prior to the creation of the SHA, the Saskatoon Health Region.
The Board will now embark on the recruitment of a permanent CEO and says no operations have been affected by the change.
