Langham Fire Department and the Saskatoon Police Service were both advising caution after dealing with accidents in and out of Saskatoon overnight and this morning.
The Highway Hotline is reporting, for all highways going out of Saskatoon, slush, icy or slippery sections, loose snow, wet subject to freezing, swirling snow and drifting snow.
The City of Saskatoon is advising residents that both drivers and pedestrians need to exercise caution on the streets and on the sidewalks. Streets are icy in the wake of heavy wet snow which was followed by freezing temperatures.
The city reports that crews and sanders were out all night applying de-icing materials on Circle Drive, freeways and high traffic intersections.
