One person is dead following a crash between two semis on Highway 11 early Monday morning. Craik RCMP say a northbound semi tractor-trailer jacked-knifed and a second semi following behind collided into the first semi.

The lone driver of the second semi was pronounced dead and family has been notified.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing by officers from the Craik Detachment and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.

Highway 11, about 10 kilometres north of Davidson was closed completely for about 12 hours on Monday.
