Kindersley RCMP are looking for the public to provide information after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle approximately two and a half kilometres north of Kindersley on Highway 21.
The victim was a man who was found on the east side of the highway next to his bicycle. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the victim left the scene. It is unknown what make, model or colour the vehicle was. Anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
Meanwhile, Southey RCMP say they were called to a single motor vehicle collision shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 12 kilometres north of Southey.
Their Initial investigation has determined that the vehicle was travelling northbound on Highway 6 when it drifted west leaving the highway, and subsequently flipped. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 53 year-old female was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Southey First Responders, Cupar EMS, and STARS ambulance also responded to the collision. Southey RCMP continue to investigate.
And on Tuesday night, Corman Park Police say they teamed up with Saskatoon Police for checkstops. They set up on Dalmeny Road and Township Road 370-A, west of Saskatoon. Three drivers had their vehicles impounded last night and Corman Park Police say in two cases it was for cannabis consumption and the other was for alcohol.
