The City of Saskatoon says it will take about two weeks to repair the College Drive pedestrian walkway—weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
The damage occurred Tuesday morning when the overpass was hit by a truck carrying a crane. The impact knocked the walkway out of alignment. Temporary support towers have been installed.
Until the repairs are complete, westbound traffic between Campus Drive and Cumberland Avenue will continue to be rerouted into the eastbound lanes.
