Saskatchewan RCMP say they removed three impaired drivers from the roads in the Maidstone area in less than three hours late Thursday night into Friday morning. From 11:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., police located and charged three drivers with impaired driving. Their vehicles were also impounded for 30 days and their licenses were suspended indefinitely. A news release says one of the drivers had a pack of hard iced tea and empty cans in the passenger seat. Officers were conducting a “Safer Roads, Safer Communities” enforcement blitz in the area.
