Graham Construction has been chosen as the construction manager for Regina’s new Urgent Care Centre.
The government says as construction manager, Graham Construction will also provide input into the project’s design, managing all suppliers and contractors, stakeholder engagement and constructing the new centre.
Health Minister Paul Merriman says Urgent Care Centres will help ease capacity pressures on Saskatchewan’s Emergency Departments. When complete the UCC will provide care for illness or injury that isn’t life threatening but can’t wait until the next day and it does include mental health and addictions supports. It will over 24-hour/seven-days-a-week access.
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2022.
