The Saskatoon Police Service has 96.3 per cent of its workforce vaccinated. That’s according to Police Chief Troy Cooper who presented to the Board of Police Commissioners this week.
Cooper said up to the end of November, the police service has received to 395 calls regarding public orders since the beginning of 2021 and 320 of those calls took place before September.
Since the mask mandate was re-introduced, Saskatoon Police Service has responded to 75 calls.
Under the public health orders, 119 tickets have been issued.
Since the pandemic began in March of 2020, 47 SPS staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
