Prince Albert RCMP are looking for a man in connection to an investigation of an attempted armed robbery on Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Officers were told that around 9:30 Tuesday night a man approached a vehicle and threatened those inside with what was described as a firearm. The occupants fled and weren’t injured.

It was reported to police that a man and two other individuals attempted to steal the vehicle but were unsuccessful. A warrant has been issued for 29 year old Joshua Naytowhow of Sturgeon Lake First Nation. His charges include robbery with a firearm and using an imitation firearm while committing an offence. The RCMP say if you see him, call the police and don’t approach him. You can also report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
