Santa made some early deliveries in northern Saskatchewan this week, with help from Rise Air.
He visited Fond-du-Lac, Stony Rapids, and Black Lake, and also made sure there were deliveries to Wollaston Lake and Uranium City.
Spokesperson with Rise Air, Kathy Hay, says Santa in the North is an anticipated annual event that is now in its 21st year.
Last year, because of COVID-19 restrictions, the gifts were delivered to each community’s airport, but Santa couldn’t hand them out personally.
This year, it was back to being able to meet with each child, newborn to Grade 12.

Rise Air thanks the sponsors which helped get Santa to the Athabasca region, including Cameco, Orano, SSR Mining, Athabasca Basin Development and the Northern Store.
