SaskPower is extending the current price of 7.5 cents per kilowatt (kWh) paid for electricity through the Net Metering program for another four years. In a news release, SaskPower says during that time, the crown corporation will engage further with customers to learn more about what is important to them as they develop comprehensive plans for the future. SaskPower engaged with the public prior to the price extension. The crown corporation received over 800 responses to a province-wide survey that was conducted on behalf of the utility about the Net Metering program. More information can be found at SaskPower’s website.
