Oh, what a rush! As of 1:30 Monday afternoon, the Saskatchewan Government reported more than 18,000 appointments for booster shots through the on-line system. Provincial booster shot eligibility opened up to anyone who is 18 and older Monday. As well, the time needed between your second vaccination and the booster shot drops to three months.
Residents are also being urged to pick up rapid test kits that are available free of charge to be used as a surveillance tool in the pandemic. In light of a new international travel advisory issued by the federal government, Saskatchewan residents are encouraged to observe all local public health orders if travelling and are expected to fully comply with the testing procedures upon arrival and departure.
