Volunteers from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Saskatoon Police and Corman Park Police teamed up on a brutally cold Tuesday night for a Holiday Season Checkstop on the west end of Saskatoon.

Staff Sergeant Patrick Barbar with the Saskatoon Police Service says they are dedicated to making sure everyone gets home safe for the holiday season.

The checkstop resulted in five Administrative Suspensions and one Criminal Charge after a driver was determined to be more than two times the legal limit.
