RCMP are still on the hunt for a woman wanted for failing to provide necessities of life.
Charmaine Bear, also known to go by the name Charmaine Spyglass, is now being described as wearing baggy clothing, sunglasses indoors and her hair up under a ball cap.
The investigation started in December 2020 after North Battleford RCMP received a report of child abuse.
Spyglass, though still not in custody, is charged with failing to provide necessaries of life, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, assault and uttering threats. The warrant for her arrest has been extended to Alberta as there was a sighting of her in Edmonton. She is also known to frequent the Lloydminster, North Battleford, Mosquito First Nation and Saskatoon regions.
RCMP says they believe she is actively evading police and traveling between, as well as staying in, some or all of these areas.
She is 5’6″ tall, 123 pounds with a slender build and brown eyes.

Lyle Aron Bear has also been charged in this case and was arrested in January of last year. He too is facing charges of failing to provide necessaries of life, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and aggravated assault. Bear’s next court date is January 18th.
