Three people are facing charges after a firearm was found inside as vehicle during a traffic stop Sunday night. Saskatoon Police say around 11:15 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a GMC Sierra truck in the area of Avenue H and 23rd Street. The driver attempted to provide police with a fake drivers license. Further investigation found a sawed-off firearm, four different types of ammunition, three knives, a large quantity of cannabis and 15 grams of magic mushrooms inside the vehicle. The three occupants, two men ages 26 and 29 along with a 28 year-old woman face numerous weapons and drug-related charges. The 26 year-old who was driving also faces additional charges including possessing fraudulent identity documents.
