The Prince Albert Police Service, in a report being submitted to the next Board of Police Commissioners meeting, indicates that 95 per cent of their police officers are fully vaccinated. Ninety-three per cent of civilian members and 94 per cent of their partners, which includes volunteers and contract workers, are also fully vaccinated.
The overall rate of vaccination for the entire Prince Albert Police Service is 94 per cent and since October 12, 2021, all Prince Albert Police Service members have been required to get tested weekly, or provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Any member of the organization who chooses testing as an option is supplied with free rapid tests and is required to test at the start of their work week.
