A notice on the University of Saskatchewan website says the Pandemic Response and Recovery Team and the President’s Executive Committee have decided to extend the date when classes return to in person to February 7th. The notice says the team and the committee have been closely monitoring the spread of the Omicron variant, including modeling data, wastewater results, COVID testing positivity in the community, and on and off-campus cases.
Until the 7th, all classes being delivered remotely will continue that way, and all classes that are being delivered in person, will continue as such. Given the data available, it is not anticipated that a further extension of precautionary measures will be required beyond February 7th.
