Two people have been charged in connection to a six-day drug trafficking investigation in Saskatoon.

On Tuesday, around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, members of the Saskatoon Police Service Tactical Support Unit along with those from the Crime Reduction Team conducted a high-risk vehicle stop in the 300 block of Ontario Avenue North. Two men and a women were taken into custody without incident. Officers allegedly seized cocaine during the arrest.

Investigators then proceeded to the 1400 block of Avenue B North where a 29 year-old woman was arrested outside of the home. A high-risk warrant was then executed at the home with three people inside were located an detained. Two vehicles were then searched with officers finding cocaine in one car.

250 grams of methamphetamine, 18 grams of hard cocaine, 27.7 grams of soft cocaine, 50 pills, 0.7 grams of fentanyl, $260 dollars in cash, bear spray, ammunition and a machete along with cell phones and other drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking were seized.

A 32 year-old man and a 29 year-old woman face a number of drug-related charges.
