Saskatoon Transit says they continue to experience delays or cancellations due to colder temperatures affecting buses. This is amplified by the Omicron variant which is resulting in a lack of spare parts or delays when it comes to parts being shipped which in turn causes bus shortages. A news release says Saskatoon Transit is doing all they can to make service and it’s difficult to know in advance which routes will be affected or cancelled. As soon as decisions are made, Saskatoon Transit says service alerts are issued to ensure riders have the information they need. Before leaving to catch the bus, service alerts and real-time bus information can be found on the Transit app or Google Maps Transit.
