Saskatoon’s snow plows were out over the weekend. The City says in a news release there was a total accumulation of seven centimetres, which met the threshold to declare a 4th snow event of the winter. At five centimetres or greater, the City calls in contractor graders to help with all priority streets quickly. Contractors also assist in clearing snow from sidewalks, pathways and walkways on bridges. With the higher-than-average snowfalls so far this winter, you may have noticed the snow piles are getting bigger along priority streets. The City says removal of these piles is ongoing.
