A fire crew returning from a previous incident this morning (mon) shortly after 9:30 came across a two vehicle accident at 19th Street and 1st Avenue. A person from one of the vehicles had to be extricated. Firefighters then stabilized the vehicle in preparation of getting the trapped person out who had minor injuries. A hydraulic cutting tool was then used to open the driver’s door to free the individual. Crews also cleaned up the diesel that had leaked from a van.
