A 36 year old man was taken into custody last night (Tues) following Saskatoon Police Service call to a domestic disturbance around 11 o’clock. Officers responded to a home in the 2200 block of East Hill and it’s alleged they witnessed a man physically assaulting a woman outside of the home. Police say the man refused to listen to officer’s commands and a conducted energy weapon (CEW) was used to take him into custody.
Officers were told the man had also assaulted two others in the home. It’s believed the man was under the influence of an intoxicant at the time. He was medically cleared by Medavie Health Services and transported to detention for court this morning (Wed). He is charged with three counts of assault and breaching conditions of his probation order.
